A Charlotte Loss

author: | posted on: December 4, 2011 11:56 pm Yesterday a couple of my friends and I ventured down to Charlotte to support our Hokies.  I am assuming most, if not all you watched the game...It was a rather unfortunate loss.  Sitting five rows from the top I was able to see everything.  All of the interceptions, bad calls, and almost touchdowns.  But, my favorite part of the game was not watching Logan Thomas (which is usually the case), it was watching the 7 year old little Clemson fan beside me.  Her name was Carly, she had blonde hair and a Clemson sweatshirt on that ate her entire body.  I am all about rivalry but this kid was to cute not to talk to.  I leaned over to Carly to tell her I liked her hat and this feisty child responds with "your sweatshirt makes me want to vomit". Hmmm, how cute.  I smiled awkwardly and went back to watching the game.  As the game progressed and the Clemson score increased this small child became louder and louder.  She began yelling profanities that I had never heard come out of a mouth that small.  Her mother stood there patting her on the back every time she had an outburst of anger.  Her language had me shocked and laughing the whole game.  Carly's little language was cute for a while but after about the third quarter I was ready to punt this child across the field.  I know that is a rather harsh statement, but oh my goodness what parents let their child go so wild? Clemson parents. Don't worry, I am kind of kidding.  As we were leaving our seats Carly gives me a little smile, I return the smile when all of a sudden she lifts both hands and flips me the bird.  All I have to say is, Stay Classy Clemson....
